I am a big fan of this group. They have been featured on this blog on several occasions. This tune is from “Parallel Lines” a record released in 1978. My life is spent hanging on the telephone in “one way or another” (that’s for another post).

This song is featured in a Verizon Wireless ad campaign featuring Selena Gomez telling a young man to play her song again and again because his great data plan. It’s a pretty good pop song with a killer hook that stays in your head for days and for me that isn’t a bad thing.

Perhaps we need to heed the words of this song from EnVogue from 1992. “Free your mind and the rest will follow”. This foursome was fierce back in the day.
