To all those who are filling orders, having quotas and have goals to reach, this is for you!

Today Is #SpiritDay, Take A Stand Against #LGBTQ #bullying

Spirit Day began in 2010 as a way to show support for LGBTQ youth and take a stand against bullying. Following a string of high-profile suicide deaths of gay teens in 2010, GLAAD worked to involve millions of teachers, workplaces, celebrities, media outlets and students in going purple on social media or wearing purple, a color that symbolizes spirit on the rainbow flag. About #SpiritDay | GLAAD

No one should ever be bullied for any reason. LGBTQ youth are a group that have it rough for just being their authentic selves. I want all those who are in the community to know they have a friend. Be yourself, always and you shouldn’t be afraid to do so.

To Watch The Debate or Not To Watch, That Is A Question #debatenight

Should I watch the 3rd United States Presidential Debate? Is it going to make a difference at this time for me or the nation at this point? I think watching it by Twitter or some other way might be good. My mind has been made up for a long time, so I guess I would be better served by watching something else. Maybe I am too chicken and I am afraid that my candidate is going to screw up. To be honest the political cycle this time around has been very caustic and very mean. Let’s see how I feel after watching Survivor: Gen X vs. Millennials on CBS TV.

Something About A New Look #wordpress

There’s something about freshening up the old blog to give it more functionality and to make it look more like a website. I chose the Motif theme to show off my posts in a larger format and to give the site a throwback feel. I hope you enjoy it.

Something About Life, Liberty, Happiness

“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence. This is also something that I feel should be extended to every human being around the world.

No matter who we are or where we come from everyone should have the right to a life of their choosing, the liberty to work for it and the freedom to pursue Happiness. One thing I would say is that no human being should prevent another from being able to be who they want as long as its legal, ethical and does not impact others in a negative way. So that means you can’t go streaking naked through a movie theatre yelling fire, fire!

No matter who you are, you should be able to dream big, achieve big and to do good things that can make a difference for your friends and neighbors. America is great when life, liberty and happiness are accessible to everyone no matter creed, orientation, race or ethnicity. It’s my hope no matter where you live in the world you have the opportunities to be who you choose to be in the place where you are now.

Be happy and make the world a better place by being yourself and living well.

Meet CoverGirl’s First Ever CoverBoy, James Charles | TIME

CoverGirl made history with the appointment of 17-year-old James Charles as its newest spokesmodel—or, shall we say, CoverBoy—to work with brand ambassador Katy Perry. Meet CoverGirl’s First Ever CoverBoy, James Charles | TIME

This story is inspiring. For a young man to pursue life, liberty and happiness on his terms and not by the traditional rules is refreshing. His chosen art medium is cosmetics and for him to embrace it fully speaks to his credibility. To me as long as he is doing what he loves its cool with me.
