One of the most difficult things about becoming friends with people on the internet is that you only really know them through the photos and words they share – you don’t really know them at all. Sometimes they quietly vanish from your life, and you don’t realise for weeks or months, and eventually resign yourself […]
I have been a social blogger for years and you meet people along the way who come and go. Some of the best people I have met have been on the net. But as the writer of this post mentions do you really know them at all?
Amazing things can happen in a community when there is a level playing field for everyone. That means that you and others can go higher and do more things together. Equality and opportunity are important to make the 21st century its best. On the job its especially important when you want to advance your cause to have everyone working together at full strength.
Being awesome means having everyone be awesome from the same place.
My friends Wednesday is here, well it’s been here all day long until it becomes Thursday but you know that already. It’s been a long week and I am ready for 5:00 PM on Friday. Don’t mean to wish my life away but you know how it goes. Whatever is going on with you today I hope you are having the best day possible. Hang in there good people.
To move forward you have to deal with your past. Life is too short not to progress. I am working on stuff to make myself better or at least I am trying. We can’t let what happened prior to interfere with the present. Move forward, don’t you look back. Just saying.
There is a bill waiting to be signed by the governor in the state of Tennessee making The Bible the official state book. You would think I would be for this being a follower of Christ but I am not. This is just plain wrong. Using the Holy Texts of one faith tradition as a cheap way to get political points from ones base of supporters is prejudiced and is borderline theocratic. We live in a country made up of people from all faiths, creeds and culture. To elevate just one faith’s holy book is short sighted and does not speak to being good neighbors. The whole thing is about pandering and posturing and picking up political points with ones constituents. My country is founded in part on the notion of a separation of church and state.
