Hey the weekend was just here and now it’s gone? Where did it go? Have you seen it? I guess most of us have begun a new week and there are lots of new challenges and a whole bunch of mystery ahead. Let’s see how this all works out. I can say I have a big of the Monday blues as I do most Mondays. Acceptance of it being Monday might be healthy and helpful.
My friends, make it great today, or something like that. Rock on!
Numbers are the measurement of success or failure in business and other things. To me numbers only tell one part of a story. Without context or experience those numbers can’t inform one of what is truly going on. Everything has a explanation and a reason for happening and I don’t think what you see on a spreadsheet can tell you everything you need to know. However there is a counter argument that numbers never lie. But you can manipulate those numbers for your own purposes. Remember every number counts but you can never count on the numbers being there for you.
Friends, it’s the end the week for many. If today is your Friday I hope its a great one. For those who are in the middle of your work week your Friday is on it’s way. Let’s have a great one good people!
The notion that people are “all fake” is not fair. Perhaps its a matter of not knowing who one is. Giving someone some grace as they try to find their identity is the best thing we can do, even if it frustrates us. I think people are trying to find their way at all stages of life. The way we react to certain situations reveals who we are and some folks are inconsistent in how they cope. I think there are a lot of people who give off the “fake” vibe but you know we are all broken people. Being genuine takes a lot of intentional work but you know its nice to help people along the way be better.
We all try to impress people whether we admit it or not. Life sometimes is about trying to make people like us or to show them we are worthy of attention. There does come a time in life when we stop trying to impress people and just try to do what is right by ones self. People want to be liked and loved ya know but at what cost? I think self esteem is an issue that everyone struggles with and we have to market ourselves to others for their approval. What do you think?
