Heads Up, It’s Monday

It’s Monday again good people. Let’s make it a good day or something like that. Do good for others and yourself today.

Quote Of The Day

Don’t ever think that just because you do things differently, you’re wrong.

Gail Tsukiyama

Blue-Collar Believer

It’s crucial for churches to embrace the thought of its members who come from all walks of life and occupations. Many are paycheck-to-paycheck and do what they can to contribute with a mix of service and giving what they can financially. Every person has a responsibility to add to the life of the congregation. I consider myself a blue-collar Episcopalian and that is a concept I feel would be best explored. No matter what is in one’s bank account, what is in their hearts and souls matters most.

More Writer Than Reader

My friends, I have been a prolific blog poster in my many years with various blogging platforms. I have been known to post 5 or more times a day. Being a prolific reader is another story. Blogging community I have been severely lapsed in reading your posts and that doesn’t seem fair considering you read and comment on mine.

I am hoping to change that and spend more time seeing what is happening in your world and in your head through your work. I ask for your forgiveness. I will work to do better. Thank you for your connections and communications. You all rock.

Your friend in blogging, Tony

Technology Is Life And Life Is Technology

Technology is life and life is technology, that makes sense, right? We all depend on it so it seems. It’s personal too and we all use various systems, devices, and software depending on what will make life a little easier.

I have been testing Linux desktop operating system distros lately and I have discovered that the world of open source is in good hands. However, you have to find that information out by experiencing it for yourself. Like anything you have to do research and see what others say and then see if their conclusions meet your expectations.

I have both Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04 on my laptop. On my desktop, it’s Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows 10. I currently dual-boot them based on my mood and needs. My daily driver is Ubuntu 22.04 because it allows me to connect with others and manage my digital life. The bonus is that I get updates and upgrades without cost.

Many of my friends run Apple products but that stuff is expensive and they update way too often and keeping up is pricy. I am an Android user without shame. I do see way more damaged Apple devices than Android’s out there so there is something to be said about that.

This Artificial Intelligence stuff is fascinating and scary in equal measure. Have we not learned anything from the movies.

And yes, I am a total nerd.
