This morning, after church, the church was prepared for Christmas. Today was the last Sunday of Advent, and we are now focusing on the Christmas season which lasts 12 days (as in The 12 Days of Christmas). St. Peter’s is Ready for the big days ahead. I hope your preparations are going well.
Friends, I am renovating the blog. Some stuff will look weird until I figure things out. Your patience and connection with me is appreciated. Thank you all very much.
According to Wikipedia, the winter solstice, also called the hibernal solstice, occurs when either of Earth’s poles reaches its maximum tilt away from the Sun. This happens twice yearly, once in each hemisphere. It’s also a day to welcome the beginning of winter. Stay warm everyone!
The Tesla Cybertruck is the ugliest vehicle on the road, full-stop. Nothing else can compete with how ridiculous this thing is. If you happen to own one much respect. My missus said this looks like a stealth bomber and she couldn’t be more right. I hear these vehicles are not well-built. It’s easy to damage them, which doesn’t seem very safe. Fascinating in a weird sort of way.
Today is the third Sunday of Advent – Known as “Gaudete,” (rejoice) Sunday, the pink candle in the Advent Wreath is a reminder of the explosive power of the season. To all who celebrate be sure to rejoice in the season.
