I finished (for now) renovations on my blog. I am using the 2015 Default WordPress theme. It features a sidebar on the left instead of the more common right side. With some coding and creativity, you can make a 10-year-old theme look current. I used the Firefox browser to make all my edits and to research ways of manipulating the fonts and colors. It’s good to change things up every now and then. Please check it out when you have a moment.

Dear gentle bloggers. I am back after a few days away. Sometimes you just need to take a break from things you enjoy. The good news is that I am renewed and ready to resume regular posts. I am hoping to extend my reach and engagement. That means having more quality posts. Sometimes I feel like I am a little boring. Comment and let me know what you think. Good feedback is always welcome. So as I always have said, “keep on blogging” and share the journey.
I think there are actually two things you should carry with you at all times. Your wallet and your phone. In today’s world, you really need both of them. Phones are essential for connection, commerce, entertainment, and information at your fingertips. Wallets are a way to carry money, various cards, and your driver’s license. I think one day you will only need your phone for all of that but we aren’t there just quite yet.
Change can be good for almost anything. So, I felt like my blog needed a little refreshing and perhaps something familiar at the same time. I have spent time changing my blog theme which I haven’t done in a while. I am using the 2016 WordPress Theme with some custom CSS to make it look like I want it to look which is white/light font on dark backgrounds. It is in keeping with my whole dark mode motif I have everywhere I can. I hope you check it out and your input is appreciated. Keep on blogging good people.
