Being in a fandom can suck when other people in the same fandom try to steal all the joy you have found from it. I see so much hate and negativity that it’s quite sad. The re is definitely a curse of having a big heart, an open mind, and sometimes a thin skin. The same can be said about religion.
That’s life for you I guess.
Friends, I hope your Friday is going well. I took today off as a mental health day and I am glad to be doing some relaxing and productive stuff. I work in a small call center and it can be kinda loud sometimes so taking a 3-day weekend is helpful. I appreciate you keeping things going on the job to all who are working today.

Science Fiction is awesome and tonight is a double feature of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and the season premiere of The Orville: New Horizons. The Orville is a loving satire of Star Trek. Strange New Worlds is a prequel to the original Star Trek series. Going into space albeit via television is fun.
In honor of her majesty’s historic reign. One of the great leaders in modern history. God Save The Queen.

June is an important month for some very important causes.
Alzheimer’s is a devastating disease that takes the lives of our family and friends. Important people in my life have suffered from it. Until there is a cure there must be the support of patients and caregivers. Awareness is key here.
June is Pride month where the contributions and lives of the LGBTQ community are celebrated and highlighted. I am a supporter of those good people who is just wanting to live, love, and support their families and to just live freely.
