#TBT Throwback Thursday – Garth Brooks: “We Shall Be Free”

I am a country music fan and Garth Brooks is one of my favorite performers of all time. “We Shall Be Free” was released in 1992 on his album “The Chase”. Garth Books words back then resonate with the life here in 2018. Some of you might not be country fans and that is OK but check this out, it is very inspirational.

I support PBS/Public Media in America because like many in this country were raised on it. We need this service available to ALL Americans. The 2019 budget does not include funding for public media. It’s a vital and necessary resource to provide quality instructive Television to everyone.

Country music singer Lari White who had some good hits in the 1990’s passed away this week at age 52. This is one of her hit songs that has stuck in my memory. Her voice was powerful but sweet. She will be missed.

Styx – Paradise Theater @ 37 Years #FlashbackFriday #FBF

The classic rock group Styx released it’s hit record “Paradise Theater” 37 years ago on January 19, 1981. It produced some terrific music that is some of my favorite rock and roll songs. It’s hard to believe it’s been this long ago but the sound is as good as I remember.
