In a world where bigger is seen as better perhaps something smaller is going counter-culture. The tiny home movement has been a huge part of that shift into downsizing and simplifying ones life. How much space does one person really need to live efficiently. Perhaps the drama in our lives is the amount of stuff we have crammed into it. Living big sometimes means you have a smaller footprint. Smaller spaces can inspire big style and big functionality. There seems to be a lesson where tiny is the new big.

Remembrance Day In The UK

a4dd157a969e750b974c4488fced6a92

Today is Remembrance Day in the United Kingdom, which is the equivalent of Veterans Day in the USA. To my friends in the UK I thank your veterans for their service and sacrifice too.

Daily Prompt: Or

Or is a kind of choice thing. It’s this or that. One thing or another. You or me. Coffee or tea. Wine or beer. It’s about an alternative to something like Android or iPhone. It provides us an opportunity to decide on something we want. Recently we had a choice of candidates H vs. D.  Be glad there is an “or” in life because if there weren’t life might be more difficult.

Veteran’s Day In America

Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday, observed annually on November 11, that honors military veterans, that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. (From Wikipedia)

To all the veterans who have served, I thank you for everything you have done. You have made the world better by putting on a uniform and going to work every day. Thank You!

Something About Blogging In The Moment

bloggingI appreciate the blogging community for being a community that is by-in-large supportive, intelligent and thought out in how we communicate with the world. Other platforms seem to be a conversational firecracker where people have been known to do great harm. Yes we all get emotional and want to post about how we are feeling in the moment but when you think about it blogging makes you think about what you are saying and perhaps gives you a chance to breathe a bit more before pressing the save/publish/share button.

Blogging in the moment is something I have been known to do. Capturing the emotion of a situation makes it more real and immediate. However letting yourself cool down can help you save face and have a more reasoned response to how you are feeling.

To all of you who follow my blog and appreciate how I do it, I thank you. You are an oasis in a social media storm.
