My blogging philosophy is to pay attention to the world around you and inspiration will strike. I also do a lot of life streaming where I post about things that are going on at the moment. There are a few things I do as a routine when posting such as Music Mondays, Tunes Tuesdays, Throwback Thursday and Flashback Fridays that sort of thing. I will schedule some posts ahead of time if there is a theme I want to explore and to create some continuity. Blogging to me is an organic activity that needs to flow and breathe as life goes on and as the situations of life arise. Of course to keep a blog alive you have to keep on blogging.

A Ramble on Discrimination
Passing laws to protect discrimination is in itself discrimination. It is 2016 and there’s too much hate that is allowed to continue. Truly it is a shame this is a thing we see daily with many in our community. No one should be treated as a second class citizen anywhere.

The new season of Survivor is premiering tonight with a revisit of Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty. It’s hard to believe it’s here and from the promos this will be a brutal season. Survivor remains the granddaddy of all reality competition shows. They do a great job of keeping this show fresh and interesting. This will be very interesting all season.

Why Is It…?
Why is it that mean people are so loud and they seem to drown out the good and the nice? It is very troubling that this seems to be the case these days. People have it in them to be genuine and kind but they also seem to revert to being mean and vicious. Really how hard is it to be good? Really!?!
The Tough Stuff
In life there is tough stuff you have to do, things that are unpleasant but necessary to keep things functional and moving along. Everyone has situations they go through that test their resolve and tells the world about who they are. For me the tough stuff is a day like Tuesday. Survive and advance as they say. Lord have mercy today.
