To all the dads out there Happy Father’s Day. Being a father means a lot of different things these days. Some moms play the role of dads, and some fill the role of dad through adoption, marriage, and so many other ways. Enjoy this day good people.
I believe that God is expressed differently in different people. Everyone is a part of a journey where we are walking one another home. The divine can be found in different places with different faces. For many, their faith is a part of the DNA of their people. Others enter into a relationship with God based upon a sacrifice.
It’s possible that myths have true meaning. It’s interesting when all that intersects. So no matter if you are team Jesus/Yahweh, team Athena or team Vishnu you are seeking and searching. Don’t wait to go to eternity, realize that heaven can be found here and now.
Love one another no matter how you worship, pray or engage in a spiritual community.
Friends, I hope your Friday is going well. I took today off as a mental health day and I am glad to be doing some relaxing and productive stuff. I work in a small call center and it can be kinda loud sometimes so taking a 3-day weekend is helpful. I appreciate you keeping things going on the job to all who are working today.
Let’s have a good weekend ahead. Be safe, it’s kinda scary out there. Grace, peace, and love.
June is an important month for some very important causes.

Alzheimer’s is a devastating disease that takes the lives of our family and friends. Important people in my life have suffered from it. Until there is a cure there must be the support of patients and caregivers. Awareness is key here.

June is Pride month where the contributions and lives of the LGBTQ community are celebrated and highlighted. I am a supporter of those good people who is just wanting to live, love, and support their families and to just live freely.

Downton Abbey is one of the finest family dramas on both sides of the Atlantic. The intrepid Crawley family returns to the big screen in the continuation of their story. Like most families things change, times change, and people change. New opportunities for the family bring the past and the present to meet the future. As a fan of the TV series, I have found the movies to be quite good.
This movie does some great fan service while adding some new twists that tell a new story. We see lots of our favorite friends along with some new faces. I think you can appreciate this as a stand-alone film but it does help to see some of the TV series for helpful context.
Julian Fellowes is a terrific writer and you won’t be disappointed in this New Era of the story of Robert, Cora, and their children.
