Something About Posting

It’s interesting how one can post only one thing one day and post many things the next. Blogging is funny that way. Everyone runs out of creative juice then creativity rains from above and you can’t stop yourself from writing and posting. Post frequency is as individual as anything and every person is different in their view of how much to post and when to post it.

For me I post when the lightning strikes and inspiration presents itself. So you might see an endless stream of posts or none at all. Remember its your blog and you make the rules. Be mindful to not overwhelm your readers too often, they might unfollow you. Of course it all depends on when the mood is right and you gotta be ready to post on whatever device is handy.

Quote Of The Day

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

A Prayer For Protection And Care

Creator of the universe you are a loving God who is there for your people in times of trouble and tragedy. May your children be comforted, calmed and secure in the coming storms. This storm is not of your hand but of a planet whose ecosystem needs balance and care. Be with those who will help the people who are in peril and need make it through.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayers.

Fried Rice Is Leftover Friendly

I made this fried rice tonight and it was really easy to make. This is also a great way to compile leftovers of this and that into a delish dish. I used leftover chicken as the lead ingredient and added carrots, onions, eggs and of course rice. Use whatever you might have left over in the fridge. Be sure you use complimentary seasonings and spices to give it a taste of Asia.

Dreamers In America #DACA

Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream for a better America. Today those who are Dreamers are now fearing about an uncertain future. There are a lot of reasons to be saddened today because these people have lived here most of their lives and have invested in America. DACA (Defered Action for Childhood Arrivals) paved a way for young people who came to America with their parents to remain in this country. These people have made a life and they have made a contribution in so many ways.

Immigration reform has been a challenge for years but its a problem that must have an answer. Unfortunately its an issue that has been punted from one administration to another. Because of inaction 800,000 people have to put their plans on hold until something is done. No one should face this sort of fear no matter what, America is better than this.
