Since I am back to work today this seems very appropriate. Here’s to all the folks who are working for a living and to those finding their way back to working for more. Released in 1982 this Huey Lewis and The News song still has a great beat.
May the American spirit of freedom and liberty find its way to your native lands. Celebrating our Independence Day is a reminder that not everyone has the freedoms available to them to do amazing things in the world. May freedom and the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness be available to all around the world. I hope there will be people who will work to make their countries the best they can be. Peace to all.

I salute those who embody the spirit of America by doing things to make life better for everyone. To my fellow Americans who follow the beat of a different drummer you rock. We are made greater by the nerds and geeks and peacemakers who aren’t afraid to be themselves.

I am glad that blog posts can be edited. Often times you write something that looks good at first, but it looks all sorts of wrong later. Those errors can be a little embarrassing when you don’t catch them in time. It’s not the end of the world, but you know you want to not make a fool of yourself. Grace in the blogging community for mistakes is a very nice thing to have.
Life would be great if we could go back and correct mistakes we made just like a post. Writing is something I have been told I am good at but when I do it there are lots of little things including punctuation that have to be fixed. There are great writers out there who do amazing posts and I hope to be right up there with them.
