Three Doors Up

Three doors up there’s opportunity for all.

Three doors up you are part of making a difference.

Three doors up your gender/sexually isn’t an issue.

Three doors up you aren’t discriminated against.

Three doors up your life’s calling is affirmed.

Three doors up the table is never too small.

Three doors up there is not a fence or a wall.

Three doors up you find comfort, peace, love and grace.

Posting Frequency

Now that I am not on Facebook at the moment I might be posting to my blog more. That would increase the posting frequency. How do you feel about this? Would that make you unfollow me?

YAFB – Yet Another Facebook Break

I am taking yet another Facebook break. I have discovered its hard to be yourself there and control who sees what you want to keep private. Yes, I know my blog is open for all to see but the one thing about my blog is that I pay for domain registration and the premium package through WordPress.com. It is important that I have total control over what I say, my content and even who sees these words.

My connections on Twitter and Instagram will not change. You can connect with both through the widgets on the right. Connect with me if you wish there.

A Thanksgiving Thought #thanksgiving

AAA-2016-Thanksgiving-Travel-Forecast-610x330

Today in America its Thanksgiving and its a time of feasting, family, friends and hopefully fun. It’s a tradition that has spanned generations. People coming together to express what they are thankful for is the rule of the day.

Yes, this holiday is not without its baggage. Sure there are stories of mistreatment and anguish in recorded history. We cannot ignore those facts because it would not be respectful to those who have suffered.

However, we can remember the problematic stuff and forge a way forward that recognizes the best of what Thanksgiving can be. In the times in which we live its good to have something positive to say and to remember the good times in our lives.

For many, it’s hard to be thankful and that is where we can come in to help provide experiences that they can hold onto.

I believe this holiday is one of redemption and renewal for something good. Happy Thanksgiving to each of you, far and wide.
