No, is a complete sentence. It’s also a powerful word I find difficult to say. No is a small word with big impact. It can mean letting someone down. No means no but it also means having control in your life. No can be an habitual thing where you aren’t willing to do anything for anyone. As a people pleaser I find it hard to say no because I am wanting to do everything for everyone. Saying no to anyone is not always in my nature. In the world of sales there is a unique challenge to turn a no into a yes. That requires technique and communication and getting people to talk themselves into something they have said no to previously. Much of this is about conflict resolution and taking people seriously. Sometimes it’s just about your preferences and doing what you want to do.

I’m Against Bullying #spiritday
I believe no one deserves to get bullied. In our world that is becoming more diverse there are some who face bullying just for being who they are. LGBTQ kids are just trying to get through this life just like the rest of us and they shouldn’t have to face harm because of who they are. Matthew Shepard was one of those people who lost his life just because people didn’t like it because of his sexual orientation.
I am reminded that we are to love one another, period. Every person is valued and cherished by their higher power. To me God loves all the children of the world. I stand with you my LGBTQ brothers and sisters. Grace and peace to you in this world we live in.
Ailments Of The Heart and Soul
It’s sad when family and friends have ailments of the heart and soul. Anytime there is suffering it is a reminder of how fragile we really are. When one person hurts it involves others too who are concerned and care for them. There are conditions people battle for years and require intensive care. Some friends of mine carry a heavy burden and I ask for God to help them through this. May we all have peace in our hearts and soul.
Rambling About Getting Older
For me aging means needing my glasses to use my cell phone and falling asleep before the Late Show comes on. As I get older sleeping through the night is harder. Of course getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is common. Getting older means facing ones own mortality too and no one wants to think of a time when they die. Now I am 46 and there are others who have lived much longer and have more stories to tell so I need to keep things in perspective. Life goes on and I need to enjoy it as long as I can. I enjoy my life and I pray it will get better as we go along. Getting older isn’t for the feint of heart.

My oh my it’s been a busy Tuesday. I started off with a staff meeting at work then a presentation to a group of new employees. As I write this its mid-morning and I am now getting a few things done before I hop on the phones. It’s been a long day this morning. Coffee will be my friend today. Let’s hope the rest of this nice Fall day goes by smoothly.
My dear blogging friends I hope your day goes well. Do good things today good people. Grace and peace.
Did I mention I am not a fan of Tuesdays…yep, not a fan.
A Returning Blogger
When a blogger returns to the scene after a absence it’s a joyous thing. Over time you get used to seeing them post daily and then all of a sudden they disappear so you wonder what happened to them. I am always glad to see folks come back after being away. For some a break is needed because they get writers block or perhaps they need to find their passion again.
Sometimes a bloggers computer is on the fritz or perhaps there are temporary Internet problems which make blogging impossible. I have taken breaks from blogging but I am not gone very long because this is a passion for me. Unfortunately some bloggers have to leave for safety sake and that is a horrible way to be forced offline.
To all who have come and gone and are back again its a joyous time. Don’t stay gone so long next time! Keep on blogging!
