Tonight the Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders play Vanderbilt University in a mid-state rivalry college football game. I graduated from MTSU in 1994 and I am proud to support my alma mater in everything they do on and off the field. Go Blue, beat the Commodores.
Well now we are at the Tuesday part of the week. Many of us are trying to get the flow going and to do what they gotta do in all the parts of their lives. I find Tuesdays can be a struggle because it just seems like its an extension of Monday. Today I am going to do my best and be the best person I can be or something like that. Have a great day my friends.
This evening in Minneapolis, Minnesota at US Bank Stadium the defending Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots will take on the upstart Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 52. This is the biggest one day sporting event in America. The Patriots have won 5 championships and a win for The Eagles will be their first. I am pulling for Philadelphia tonight just because they haven’t won the big game in their history. Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback in NFL history and he hopes to cement his growing legend and legacy. I am looking forward to the game and spending time with family eating a lot of good things.
Save some space next to your turkey for football Thursday, because there’s going to be a whole lot of NFL this Thanksgiving.
The Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions kick off the day’s slate of games at 12:30 p.m. ET. The Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers have the mid-day game at 4:30 p.m. The Washington Redskins cap off the night with a game against the New York Giants at 8:30 p.m.
Reporters and on-air personalities are among the roughly 100 ESPN employees who are expected to lose their jobs this week, in a cost-cutting move at the network that has lost millions of subscribers in recent years.
ESPN is a sports network that airs on cable TV across America. They have been the network of note for sports fans for years. Today they did a mass layoff of reporters and on-air personalities that are the face of the network. It’s a part of the changing face of how people view and consume entertainment.
My alma mater Middle Tennessee State University now knows who they will play in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. The Minnesota Golden Gophers of the Big 10 Conference. It’s going to be a great game among the many that will be played over the next three weeks. Go Blue Raiders and bust a lot of brackets along the way.
