Micheal Weatherly makes his departure from NCIS tonight after being with the show from the beginning. Very Special Agent Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo is one of the best characters on TV in the past 13 years. If Mark Harmon’s character Leroy Jethro Gibbs is the heart of NCIS then Weatherly is the soul of the show. NCIS goes on as Micheal departs.
The TV show “Castle” says farewell this evening after 8 seasons. Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic brought the fictional story of a ruggedly handsome writer and a New York City Police detective to life on millions of TV sets around the world. Castle will be remembered for lots of laughs and lots of action. I appreciate the show for never being afraid to be totally nerdy and very intelligent. As we say farewell we will never forget Derek Storm and Nikki Heat. Castle your final pages have been written, thank you for the stories.
ABC is showing no mercy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has axed long-running drama Castle, fan-favorite series Marvel’s Agent Carter, musical comedy Galavant, beleaguered series The Muppets, and The Family, which is a show we’re told was on ABC. Earlier, the network canceled the country soap Nashville after four seasons.
Wow, ABC Television used a machete in its cancellations today. A lot of liked shows got the axe. The three most important are Castle and Nashville which had enthusiastic followings. It will be interesting to see what they trot out for the fall and where stars of these shows end up.
We have been binge watching The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix while enjoying the coolness of our air conditioning system which has refrigerant. Sometimes Netflix and Chill can mean something else that is different from the popular slang of the day.
What have you binge watched lately? Do you Netflix and “chill out”.
This movie is just great, it’s cute and a reminder of the cartoon series in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Ty Burrell of TV’s “Modern Family” does a great job as the voice of Mr. Peabody. There is action, adventure and very quick humor.
I am getting emotional thinking about tomorrow being the final episode of Downton Abbey. I love everything about this series and I am sad to see it go. The Crawley family has been a part of millions of adoring fans around the world. I will be blogging more about the finale from now until tomorrow after it is all said and done.
