Rambling About #WordPress.com

I want to say I am happy with the service and powerful platform provided by WordPress.com.  I have some the self hosted thing before and I have found that letting someone else do the heavy lifting is alright with me. Granted I can’t customize as much as I would like without paying for it is not a huge issue. It just makes you more creative that way.

I am grateful and glad for being connected with other great blogging enthusiasts here in this great community. Thanks for following me fellow bloggers and thanks to the staff of WordPress.com for everything.

If you are looking to integrate your Instagram pictures into your WordPress blog this resource can help you make sense of it. There are some preset recipes that can guide you through.

WordPress Reader

Is the WordPress reader slow for anyone. It might just be my Chromebook computer. It seems sluggish. What do you think?

Posting A Blog, Reading A Blog A Bit Slow

I have found the new blog posting system seems to be slower for me than before. I am running a Chromebook with decent specs but when viewing posts in the reader it seems a bit sluggish. I like the appearance and colors of the new front end but somehow it just seems to drag. This post is being written on the older post system which works great. I embrace change but sometimes you need to think about how change will impact others.

About My Instagram Photos On My Blog

I use a service called IFTTT to add my Instagram photos to my blog. My reason for doing so is to make it easier to post a quick pic to my blog. The wildly popular photo sharing platform does some cool things to pictures and I want to bring that content to my blog. It is also another way to connect to you my blogging community. I don’t always like uploading pictures via the WordPress app and Instagram is much easier for a quick photoblog. Some folks prefer to keep them separate and that’s cool but for me I like bringing the two together. I wish Instagram would work natively without a 3rd party on WordPress.

Thanks to each of you who follow me on all my platforms. I appreciate your friendships and how you tell your stories of who you are and what you enjoy doing.
