Something About Fast Food

Fast food is a convenience, but it is a hassle too when your order is given to you incomplete when going through the drive thru. It happens so much lately.

There is sometimes difficulty being understood when placing your order especially when you have questions, and you are in a rush. Then you get to the window to pay and get your order, they hand it to you, and you check your bag and there are no condiments that you asked for and no flatware that should be there. Sometimes food is missing and that is a whole other level of inconvenience.

I hate to complain, but that is the only way you can be heard when your order is incomplete. Also, fast food is getting more expensive too.

I do feel for those who work in those restaurants because I worked for McDonald’s when in college. I just wish service was better, that isn’t too much to ask.

Happy 3rd Gotcha Day, Frankie Boy Dog!

We adopted this little boy dog from the Chattanooga Humane Society three years ago. Frankie has been an endless source of light and fun in our lives. He has also been a mess and loves to play especially with his impressive collection of toys. We love you boy, thank you for choosing us.

Adopt, don’t shop!

Just Being Ourselves, Acting Weird

This is for my fellow weirdos who want to just be themselves, no matter what. Keep your freak flag flying fellows.

Welcome Back, Call The Midwife

Call The Midwife is one of my favorite shows. It’s the best faith-based show on television. It airs on PBS in the United States and it’s appointment viewing. Sunday nights are best with the Sisters, midwives, and nurses of the Nonnatus House in Poplar, London, UK.

Farewell To Mark, You Are Missed

Yesterday, we attended a wake/breakfast in memory of a friend who passed away recently. Mark was a good man who was loyal and true. He suffered some health issues that led to his passing. There are many things you can say about him. I remember how nice he was, and he gave from his big heart. I ate his favorite dish the “hobo banquet” in his memory. He was there with his many friends in spirit. Rest in power Mark, thank you for being a friend to so many people.

Chuck Norris, A Legend Has Left Us

Rest in power Chuck Norris. We remember you in good humor and plenty of action. Thank you for the memories.
