Overly dramatic is the drama king (or queen).

Monday, Meh

It’s raining and it’s Monday…meh. Today is going to be a tough one. I hope your day will be much better.

Rainy days and Monday’s always get me down.

Love For All On Valentine’s Day

Love is a great thing and on this Valentine’s Day I salute all couples who are expressing their affection for one another. I also have a wish for those who are not in a relationship with someone that soon they will find love, happiness and peace. Everyone should have someone to love and live well with.

To my friends who are in the LGBTQ community I support your human right to love the person you choose. It’s important you have that freedom and that opportunity. Many of you are celebrating the right to marry in this country. I hope for that freedom everywhere.

God bless each of you no matter your orientation or status.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies – A Interesting Flick

zz2

I am not a big fan of the whole Zombie thing but this movie intrigued me and it was also our Valentine’s Day movie. Lily James of Downton Abbey and Matt Smith who played the 11th Doctor in Doctor Who are both in this mashup of Jane Austen’s great literary work and an adaptation by Seth Grahame-Smith. It’s a commentary on contemporary culture in the regency era of English history. There is a lot of violence and action with a little period romance thrown in for fun. Go check it out, you will enjoy it if you can stomach a lot of blood and fighthing.

Happy St. Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day isn’t all roses and romance. There was a real person behind it. I can safely say he didn’t love how he left the world.
