Something About A Funeral
I went to a funeral at church today. The person being memorialized was the brother of a fellow church member. Frankly, it was good to go and be reminded of how precious life is. Also, it was good to focus on being there for a friend who is grieving.
Everyone is grieving something these days. Losing someone special is a pain that hangs around for a long time. Trust me, I know all too well.
While I was there at church, I was unaware of what was going on in the rest of the world. Sure, I had my phone with me, but I just kept it in the holster on my waist. Bill, who was being remembered, and his family were the focus of the moment. I was glad to be there because it was the right thing to do. Rest in power to Bill and others who have left us for eternity.
Something About A Hellfire Club Dream
I had a dream the other night I wore a Hellfire Club t-shirt from Stranger Things to church. Church talks about hell from time to time, and I don’t think it would totally be inappropriate. Stranger things have happened.
A Stranger Things Friday Night
Nothing like watching the Stranger Things series finale for our third time, having pizza and soda to make a great Friday night at home. Our weather is icky tonight, so a cozy night in is in order. I hope you are having a good evening to begin your weekend.
