Happy Canada Day to my true north friends. I love Canada and hope to see it again someday. Have some poutine, Molson’s, Ice Wine, Kraft Dinner and All-Dressed chips for me today. I am Canadian in my dreams.
While everyone is headed to the beach. I would so love to head north to Toronto and the greater Ontario area. Oh Canada! Now to figure out how to sneak across the border (said in jest because I full well know the border north is closed).
It’s Monday and I’m in a Tim Hortons mood today. Nothing like Canada’s best. Have a good day everyone.
Hockey is Canada’s game that is played around the world. This is a very nice museum honoring the game and the greats of the game.
This beautiful estate belonged to Henry Pellatt a Canadian financier and soldier. In later years it’s been a tourist destination and event space.
Neal Peart who was one of the greatest drummers ever to pick up sticks passed away on January 10, 2020. Peart along with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson made up the legendary Canadian rock band Rush. Peart’s play is other-worldly. His drums are silent and he will be very much missed. Rock on with the Saints good sir.
