In some parts of the world, the United Kingdom specifically it’s Mother’s Day. To all those mums who are keeping their families and communities going I salute you and appreciate what you do to make the life better for those in your lives. I hope you have had a great day and have been spoiled with as much love as you give.

It’s British, It’s about Christmas…what’s not to love. An all-star cast and the writing of Richard Curtis make this brilliant. I love Bill Nighy in this flick, he is my spirit animal if I were an aging rock star who cusses like the rainbow. This movie is a tradition this time of year.

Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 90th birthday today. As the longest-serving monarch in British history she has seen a lot in her life and has experienced war and peace and has led her country with strength and grace. Happy Birthday your majesty!
