I hope that kids today will see Prince and say that is awesome music. May that inspire them to learn how to play, write and perform music that lasts generations. Prince can inspire us all to do great things in our chosen field to make our own music.
His life was about doing amazing things that made the world take notice. We all have our influences and may he continue to influence generations of people even in his death. Much like ripples on a pond he made waves and gave the world songs that will last forever.
Sometimes you think too hard
You can work too hard
Maybe you love too hard
Often you are hardly there
The bed is hard
Your heart and your head is hard
Candy can be hard
Sleeping on a hard floor
Yep life can be hard
Hard knocks can be hard
This poem was written some time ago. It is not how I feel. However the universe might feel this way.
Some things you have to do in life are tough and messy. They have to be done though. It is kind of like removing a bandage from your skin. You know its going to be painful but you just have to grip and rip. Everyday has those moments when you dread doing things you hate. Everyone has that one thing they have to do but hate to do it. So no matter what unpleasant things you have to get done today I hope you will do it with courage and some peace.
In life there is tough stuff you have to do, things that are unpleasant but necessary to keep things functional and moving along. Everyone has situations they go through that test their resolve and tells the world about who they are. For me the tough stuff is a day like Tuesday. Survive and advance as they say. Lord have mercy today.
This is the anthem for anyone just trying to get by. We are never going to survive unless we get a little crazy.
Let’s do this, let’s get crazy!
