Hey Everybody, It’s December

We have reached the final month of 2025. December, let’s see what you have in store for us. May the holidays be fun and festive and uneventful. Have a good month, good people.

The Season Of Advent Has Begun

The season of Advent has begun for many in the Christian tradition. This is a time of prayer, reflection and waiting for the birth of Jesus Christ. Advent is also the beginning of the church year. It’s a time of celebration and joy, too.

Christmas is on its way. Enjoy the journey.

Happy Thanksgiving Good People

Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating in the United States. May your time today be one of love, togetherness, and hopefully some good food. This time of year can be a challenge for many for personal reasons. May we also be mindful of those indigenous peoples that played a part in the first celebration. No matter where you are, may you have something to be thankful for.

Six Word Story

Saying nothing means saying something silently.

So I Did A Thing

So, I did a thing. After talking about getting an earring for years, I finally went and did it. Thanks to the folks at Inked Expressions on the north shore of Chattanooga, I’m now a rebel or something like that.

The earring is small, but it’s there.

Transgender Day Of Remembrance – November 20

Transgender Day of Remembrance, is observed annually from its inception on November 20, 1999, to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia.

As a CIS gender white male, I choose to remember the injustice and violence against people who are seeking the universal values of life, liberty and happiness. I have never been the victim of violence of a transgender person. My life has been enriched by knowing transgender people.

They are often scapegoats of problems that they are not the cause of. Too many transgender people have lost their lives. It’s not right, they should be treated like fellow human beings who desire to live authentically in their own bodies free from fear.
