Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!

Status Update

It’s the weekend and I’m glad. I’m still under the weather but getting better. Went to the doctor today and got meds. I have felt icky all day with a sinus infection. I’m hoping to feel better soon.

I hope you have a great weekend good people. Hang in there.

Thinking about my alma mater, Hiwassee College as it holds its last graduation ceremony today. This is me back on May 3, 1992 for my own graduation. A day that I didn’t ever think would happen. Thank you Hiwassee.

A Little Church Humor

Status Update

I was home sick today with some sinus/allergy crud that everyone seems to get this time of year. I have an appointment tomorrow to go see my primary care provider to see if its something more. The pollen is out of control here. Fortunately it rained today and I hope that will alleviate the situation for everyone where I live. Needless to say I am tired of feeling icky. Let’s hope it doesn’t ruin the weekend.

I hope your day was better than mine. Grace and peace.

Gab Fest

I hate being unwilling party to someone’s gab fest when they are on the phone.

Especially when it’s bringing up their ancient history.
