Happy Kwanzaa To All Who Celebrate

Today begins the celebration of Kwanzaa. It is an annual celebration of African-American culture from December 26 to January 1. It was created by activist Maulana Karenga based on African harvest festival traditions from various parts of West, East, and Southeast Africa. Peace to all who celebrate.

It’s The Chaos

It’s the chaos that is the norm these days. The world is going crazy. So much is happening. It’s like everything all at once is happening. I’m ready for stuff to calm the hell down because we all need some stability.

Flashback Friday – Earring Edition

Two weeks ago, I got my first and probably only piercing. I went to a local tattoo shop to get my left ear pierced. It’s been fun having an earring.

Today (Dec. 1) is World AIDS Day. First observed in 1988, we honor those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses, as well as the millions of people living with HIV/AIDS in the United States and across the globe.
