Today is the first Sunday Of Advent in many places in the Christian Tradition. I am serving in worship at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church today. The road to Christmas has begun for real. Have a great Sunday everyone.

Welcome To Black Friday 2022

Today is traditionally one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Early risers will pound the pavement and sometimes one another for the best deals. The whole thing can be chaotic and sometimes violent. It’s not worth it for a TV or computer. For those working today like my Sister my heart goes out to them. I call on all of us to be kind, respectful and mindful of their position. Retail is hard work and on days like today it can be harder than usual.

May the odds be ever in your quest for the bargains you seek. Be kind in the process. Love and peace good people.

Happy Thanksgiving To All

Dear friends, I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving today. During this time may we remember those who make our lives better. Be thankful for what we have and don’t sweat the rest. It’s important to recognize that this holiday is tough for some and does have its own issues but through reconciliation and love it can be a new way forward of gratitude and peace. However, you celebrate may you be safe and have fun. Thanks to those who serve during this day.

Thanksgiving By The Numbers

A little inside information in advance of tomorrow’s American Thanksgiving holiday. Interesting stuff if you ask me.

All About Time

Time is slow when you want it to be fast. It’s fast when you want it slow. Time doesn’t go by our rules only it’s own. We are all waiting for something that takes its own time. A watch, a clock, a sundial are the keepers of time and we have to abide by. On this day I want time to go by swiftly but tomorrow perhaps not. It is all about time. Time does its own thing and there’s little we can do about it.
