It’s amazing the connections we make with people who we never thought we would become friends with. Some folks surprise you when they want to be your pal. Those connections reveal the depth of our hearts and souls that we look past appearances into something greater. Friendships are a vital part of our world and we all need them. It is through our friendships that we learn more about ourselves. We need to be wary that we see ourselves poorly when others reject us though. Each of us are valuable people and its great when others see it and sometimes let us know that value. Connections are cool!

Back To School Time
When I was a kid school started back after Labor Day in the USA because the weather was just a little cooler. These days some kids around the country start back before August. Classes are starting back earlier and earlier these days for various reasons. The challenges our teachers and students face are tougher and they have to be smarter. Our world has changed and the lessons they need to learn are important to their success.
Around the world kids start at different times. For some of my followers their kids are now enjoying Summer break.
Every student, every teacher, every parent has a lot riding on our schools and they need our support. New teachers are coming in as old teachers are retiring and the standards that need to be met are higher. Elementary, middle and high schools along with colleges need to be safe and secure places of learning too. As school starts back lets keep everyone involved in our thoughts and prayers. They need it now, more than ever.

Being Inclusive In Ones Language
I think inclusive language is important these days. However that seems to be a moving target of what people want to be called. Pronouns are important but it seems like that rule changes frequently. Doing the right thing by people can be very hard. No one wants to be offended but eventually it will happen.
Perhaps grace and information can help people be more considerate, more kind to one another. If one is offended by what someone calls them in an attempt to reach out then perhaps some kindness and understanding that someone cares to try to meet where they are. What this is really is treating people as you would want to be treated or something like that. Names and titles are things that are important to people so I want them to be important to me.
Personally I don’t wanna get anything wrong. As a people pleaser I really want to do right by people because I think it’s the right thing to do.
