Back To The Future, Twenty Fourteen Theme #wordpressdotcom #wordpress
I change my themes more than some folks change their minds. Since I am using Instagram pictures on my blog again I found they display better across various platforms using the Twenty Fourteen theme. The widgets are in the same places you might have seen before. I like how much content you can display using this theme too. Thanks for putting up with the changes and remaining connected. Rambling About Sharing One’s Views
I don’t expect everyone to agree with me who visits my blog or my social media platforms. However I do hope for respect, dialogue and understanding. Many of us have the freedoms our countries provide to express how we feel and we must be mindful there are those who do not. As a person with those freedoms I will never take them for granted nor will I use them in such a way that is demeaning. Everyone is worthy of grace and love while some in the public eye deserve some constructive criticism. It is my hope that despite our differences we can remain friends and friendly.
Just so you know my beliefs, blogging and politics are left-leaning but a good deal of the time I tend to be a moderate. Just so you know what to expect here.
If you find what I have to say as being something you cannot accept, I do understand. For those who chose to hang around I want to say thank you for your time when you visit here. I do appreciate it.
Post Something New Today
I you haven’t posted in awhile, make today the day you post something new. A blog is a living, breathing thing that needs updating every so often. Even if its a picture or quote or a YouTube video. It takes just a couple of minutes. Go for it!
That’s Not How This Works
You have probably seen this meme around the Internet and the spirit and message of it is very true. People understand one way of doing something and sometimes it’s not the right way of doing it. Life can be frustrating that way. Perhaps its a low tolerance for others doing something we know/think can be done in a different way. None the less its the way life is these days.
Me @ Mid Life, No Crisis Here
Being yourself in your mid-forties can be an adventure. Some folks my age are having a mid-life crisis but I don’t think I am. Knowing who you are and being yourself I think can help you navigate life better. Some of us in our forties are still finding out what life is about and welcoming the changes. I think fear, like anything can drive people to do things that are not healthy or wise.
One word of advice for folks my age I have is to learn new things, do things differently every once and awhile and have fun. Get to know younger people who can help you stay current on what’s up in the here and now. Building bridges generationally can be fun. Have fun though being the age you are. Of course taking care of yourself is helpful too. Mid-life is different for everyone but I hope it comes later for you because you plan to live a long time.
