Today is an election day in the state of Tennessee. Local races will be decided. There are primary races for Governor and Senator on the ballot today. As a citizen its ones responsibility to make your voice heard by your vote. Democracy makes your choice possible. The weather where I am is a little messy but it won’t stop me from making my way to the polls. So if you are in Tennessee you have until 8 PM this evening, go vote!
Good leadership requires intelligence, wisdom, restraint, compassion and understanding of complex issues. When none of that is present then those in power must be replaced. #Vote2018 to make vital changes in leadership to make things better for the country and the world.
Mayor Andy Berke has won Chattanooga’s four-way mayoral race. Berke received 11,991 votes, according to unofficial results posted online by the Hamilton County Election Commission.
I am thrilled about this. In a four-way race there is always the chance of a loss because of vote splitting. He is a great guy and I am happy for these results.
The big number for American’s is 270…that is how many electoral votes from the electoral college it takes to become President Of The United States. There is also the popular vote number which is important too. There are other numbers like how many Senators and Representatives from both parties will be in congress in January. Today lots of numbers are being thrown around. It will be interesting to see what those numbers will mean to people in a tangible way. Let’s see what numbers will mean for us as we discover how they are going revealed to us.
